Samantha Russo of Nashua, contending as Miss Souhegan Valley, was crowned Miss New Hampshire 2013 in ceremonies Saturday night at the Stockbridge Theatre at Pinkerton Academy, with Miss Greater Derry Kendall Wipff coming in a close second. Some of the 28 contestants look on as Russo takes her first walk as the Granite State’s representative in the Miss America competition.
