Village of Holly Seeks Volunteers for Commissions

The Village of Holly is reaching out to its community members, urging them to take an active role in shaping the village’s future by joining the Historic District Commission (HDC) and Planning Commission. These commissions are integral to preserving our heritage and guiding the village’s development.

Opportunities for Volunteers

Historic District Commission (HDC): If you have a passion for preserving our village’s rich history and cultural landmarks, the HDC is the perfect fit for you. Meetings take place at 6 PM on the second Thursday of each month.

Planning Commission: Help us plan for the future by joining the Planning Commission. This commission is tasked with creating physical plans for the village and reviewing development proposals. Meetings occur at 6 PM on the fourth Wednesday of each month.

How to Get Started

If you’re interested in volunteering, simply visit the Village of Holly Offices at 504 ½ East Maple, situated in Cyclone Park. There, you can complete a Citizen Participation Form. Once submitted, your application will be reviewed by the Village President, who will then recommend applicants to the Village Council for approval.
