Trump Sparks Renewed Feud with Megyn Kelly at Georgia Rally

Former President Donald Trump reignited his long-standing feud with Megyn Kelly during a rally held in Georgia on Saturday evening. The fiery exchange between the two originated from the infamous 2015 GOP presidential debate, where Kelly served as a moderator.

During his address, Trump vividly recalled the contentious moment from the debate, remarking, “They asked me that horrible, horrible question, remember? And I said, ‘Oh, am I dead?’ That’s the first question I ever got.” The question in question was posed by Kelly right at the outset of the debate, challenging Trump’s past comments about women.

With unwavering resolve, Kelly confronted Trump on his derogatory remarks towards women: “You’ve called women you don’t like ‘fat pigs,’ ‘dogs,’ ‘slobs,’ and ‘disgusting animals.’ Does that sound to you like the temperament of a man we should elect as president?” Trump’s response, famously, included a controversial comment insinuating blood. This incited a prolonged and acrimonious feud between the two.

Despite the passage of time, tensions lingered between Trump and Kelly, although there seemed to be a semblance of reconciliation when Trump consented to an interview with Kelly in September of the preceding year.

However, during his recent rally, Trump once again directed his ire towards Kelly, expressing, “Megyn Kelly, may she rest in peace. She’s sort of making a career by pretending she likes me.” This statement underscored the enduring animosity between the two figures, shedding light on the complexities of their tumultuous relationship.
