The Town of Derry is working out the process for selection of its next Town Administrator.
Derry severed its relationship with its previous administrator, John Anderson, in October, voting to terminate its employment agreement with him without cause.
The Town Council met with a facilitator from Primex, one of its insurers, on Nov. 25. Facilitator Carl Webber helped the Council set goals for the next year. The goals will help them develop the qualities they want to see in their next administrator, according to Acting Town Administrator Larry Budreau.
He said the Council will review the goals from the Nov. 25 meeting at its Jan. 7, 2014 meeting, the first of the new year. From those, he said, “We will develop the qualifications for the next Town Administrator.”
Budreau said the Council has not yet decided whether it wants to hire a search firm or conduct the process on its own.
