The Derry Town Council met with Town Administrator John Anderson and his attorney, Cornelius Sullivan, in a closed-door session but no action was taken.
Councilors voted to go into nonpublic session at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 11, along with Acting Town Administrator Larry Budreau and Thomas Closson, an attorney for the town. They emerged at 8:30 p.m. and Chairman Michael Fairbanks said no action was taken. The council voted unanimously to seal the minutes.
Anderson, 50, was put on paid administrative leave July 12 after allegedly exposing himself at his home to a door-to-door DirecTV salesman July 11. A warrant for his arrest on two counts of indecent exposure and lewdness was issued Aug. 16, after a month-long investigation by State Police, and he was formally charged Aug. 27 at the State Police barracks. On Aug. 22, the Council met in nonpublic session and changed his leave to unpaid status.
