Tiffanie Lucas Pleads Guilty to Murdering Her Two Young Sons in Kentucky

SHEPHERDSVILLE, Ky. AP — Tiffanie Lucas has pleaded guilty to murder charges for fatally shooting her two young sons, aged 6 and 9, last year.

This plea was entered in Bullitt County Court, where Lucas had initially pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity and was set to go to trial in December.

Sentencing is scheduled for November 22, with each charge carrying a potential sentence of 20 to 50 years or life imprisonment.

Authorities reported that deputies found the children with gunshot wounds in November 2023, and they were taken to a Louisville hospital where they later died.

A witness at the scene identified Lucas as the shooter, and a firearm was located in the same room as the children.
