Tampa General Hospital
Tampa General Hospital (TGH) is the largest medical institution in the Tampa Bay area, ranking 88th nationally. As the primary teaching hospital for the University of South Florida Health Morsani College of Medicine, TGH is recognized for its expertise in cardiology, neurology, and orthopedics. The hospital recently received a three-year accreditation from the Commission on Cancer and was named a top ten employer in Florida by Forbes.
Sarasota Memorial Hospital
Sarasota Memorial Hospital (SMH) also earned a spot among America’s best hospitals, ranking 146th. SMH was pivotal in recovery efforts following Hurricane Ian, remaining operational during the storm and managing a record number of patients.
