Ann Arbor, Michigan came out on top as the most educated city in the country. San Jose, California, and Washington D.C. followed closely behind, showing high levels of education among their residents.

In Ohio, Columbus took the lead as the most educated city, ranking 42nd overall. Cincinnati and Dayton-Kettering also made it to the top half, ranking 62nd and 66th respectively.

On the flip side, Akron, Cleveland-Elyria, and Toledo found themselves in the lower half of the rankings, with ranks of 79, 85, and 103. Canton-Massillon, Huntington-Ashland, and Youngstown-Warren-Boardman faced even tougher challenges, landing in the bottom 14%.

This study highlights the educational differences between cities and underscores the importance of ongoing efforts to enhance educational opportunities for everyone in the nation.
