Rudy Giuliani Faces $146 Million Judgment: Georgia Election Workers Demand Asset Seizure

Former Donald Trump adviser Rudy Giuliani is facing increased pressure to pay a $146 million judgment after losing a defamation lawsuit brought by two Georgia election workers last year.

CNN reported that lawyers for Ruby Freeman and Shaye Moss have asked a federal judge to seize Giuliani’s assets to cover the damages. The list of assets includes over two dozen designer watches, a Mercedes-Benz, a $6 million condo in New York, a $3.5 million condo in Florida, and various sports memorabilia, including New York Yankees World Series rings.

If the court order is approved, Giuliani will have seven days to surrender these assets.

Freeman and Moss’ lawyers are also seeking to claim Giuliani’s future earnings, including payments he claims to be owed by the 2020 Trump campaign and the Republican National Committee.

Giuliani filed for bankruptcy after being found liable for defamation, having accused the election workers of ballot fraud in the 2020 election. However, Freeman and Moss’ lawyers have challenged this bankruptcy filing, accusing Giuliani of committing bankruptcy crimes.

Ted Goodman, a representative for Giuliani, claimed the defamation lawsuit was an attempt to censor and bully the mayor and accused Freeman and Moss’ lawyers of taking steps to harass and intimidate Giuliani with the recent court request.
