Robins Air Force Base Advances Battle Management Complex with New Legislation

WARNER ROBINS, Ga. WGXA — Robins Air Force Base is making progress on its new Battle Management Complex thanks to new legislation signed into law on Monday.

The Robins Facilities Enhancement Act will upgrade key military facilities at the base. This is the next step following the Battle Management Enhancement Act, which was approved earlier in January 2024.

These upgrades aim to significantly improve how the military communicates securely and quickly with troops during operations.

The legislation, introduced by Senator Ossoff, was included in this year’s National Defense Authorization Act and officially became law on December 23.

“The team at Robins Air Force Base works tirelessly to protect our nation, and they deserve our full support,” said Senator Ossoff. “This law will help us continue to upgrade their facilities.”

In April, Senator Ossoff also helped secure $50 million for the Battle Management Complex through a bipartisan measure.
