The mother of Alexander Paffendorf, the suspected co-conspirator in a Wisconsin school shooting, took her son out of public school years ago because she was unhappy with the education system.
She shared her frustrations on social media, calling California teachers so flipping lazy and criticizing them for not being engaged after they received job security through tenure.
She also claimed that after her son’s teachers checked out mentally, she decided to take matters into her own hands, offering him extra lessons at home before enrolling him in a private school, which she believed made a big difference.
Paffendorf’s mother also criticized government leaders, including California Governor Gavin Newsom and President Joe Biden, accusing them of being corrupt and ineffective.
She expressed disappointment with how the country has changed, saying the last few years had been shocking and extremely disheartening.
Paffendorf, now 20, is alleged to have planned a coordinated attack with Wisconsin school shooter Natalie Samantha Rupnow.
They reportedly exchanged messages discussing their plans, which included Paffendorf carrying explosives and a gun to target a government building in San Diego while Rupnow carried out a shooting at Abundant Life Christian School in Wisconsin. Rupnow killed two people before taking her own life.
Paffendorf has not been charged with a crime yet, but there is a court hearing set for January regarding a restraining order.
