Pennsylvania State Police are conducting an investigation into a crash that occurred in the westbound lanes of Interstate 76 in Philadelphia.
The incident took place shortly after midnight between the exits for Roosevelt Boulevard and Kelly Drive. As a result of the crash, the highway was closed for approximately four hours while crews worked to clear the scene. It was reopened around 4:25 a.m.
Details regarding the cause of the accident and any injuries sustained have not yet been disclosed by authorities. The investigation is ongoing.
