Minnesota First Lady Gwen Walz Urges Wisconsin Voters to Support Kamala Harris

Minnesota First Lady Gwen Walz visited Eau Claire, Wisconsin, to encourage voter participation ahead of the upcoming election.

Speaking at a local campaign office, Walz expressed her support for Vice President Kamala Harris, emphasizing the Harris administration’s commitment to reproductive rights—a cause close to Walz, who has shared her own experiences with fertility treatments.

Walz also highlighted economic plans under Harris and her husband, Governor Tim Walz, focusing on strategies to lower living costs.

She promised an opportunity economy, aiming to reduce grocery, healthcare, and housing costs while advocating for tax cuts to help more people achieve financial stability.

State Representative Jodi Emerson and Christian Phelps, a candidate for the Wisconsin State Assembly, also addressed the gathering.

This marks Walz’s eighth visit to Wisconsin since her husband joined the Democratic ticket, underlining their outreach to Wisconsin voters.

On Monday, Governor Walz and Ohio Senator J.D. Vance are scheduled for additional campaign stops in La Crosse, Wisconsin, as election efforts ramp up in the final days.
