Mike Wolfe s Heartfelt Tribute to Late American Pickers Co-Star Frank Fritz

In a heartfelt tribute, American Pickers star Mike Wolfe opened up about his close friend and former co-star Frank Fritz, who passed away at age 60 following stroke complications.

Reflecting on their deep friendship and recent struggles, Wolfe expressed how he had never truly distanced himself from Fritz, despite the difficulties they faced.

He emphasized his ongoing support for Fritz, even advocating for his rehab and offering comfort during Fritz’s health battle.

Recalling an emotional reunion, Wolfe shared that reconnecting with Fritz felt natural, as he saw beyond the challenges Fritz faced with addiction, understanding that it was the illness, not the man himself, that had caused strain.

The two even discussed Fritz possibly returning to American Pickers, but his 2022 stroke made that unlikely.

When Fritz’s health declined in September, Wolfe and loved ones were by his side. Wolfe described the poignant final moments, expressing his love and offering Fritz words of comfort.

Wolfe said, I was holding his hand and rubbing his chest when he took his last breath. I took my fingers and I closed his eyes.

Reflecting on Fritz’s legacy, Wolfe remembered him as a beautiful, beautiful person who brought joy to fans. He hopes people will remember Fritz for his genuine kindness and humor.
