Mike Turner Named President and COO of Cajun Steamer Under Cherry Bounce Hospitality

Mike Turner, formerly of Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux, The Cheesecake Factory, and Piccadilly Restaurants, has been named president and COO of Cajun Steamer, a Creole and Cajun brand under Cherry Bounce Hospitality.

The seven-unit concept, based in Alabama and Tennessee, offers seafood, gumbo, poultry, and po’boys.

Turner, a native of Alabama who grew up in Louisiana, brings over 30 years of experience in foodservice, including corporate and executive roles in operations, culinary initiatives, and supply chain management.

Most recently, he was senior VP of supply chain and culinary at Walk-On’s, where he helped manage rising costs and introduced a Cajun rib-eye po’boy to the menu.

Scott Taylor, CEO of Cherry Bounce Hospitality, praised Turner’s leadership and commitment to fostering a winning culture as the company plans to expand Cajun Steamer’s reach.

Cherry Bounce Hospitality also operates Trudy’s Tex-Mex in Austin, Texas, and Live.Eat.Surf in Wilmington, N.C.
