A Tennessee mother was arrested after allegedly pulling a gun on a student who had pepper-sprayed her daughter during a fight on a school bus. The incident took place in Middle Tennessee and involved students from McGavock High School. The altercation began when a student used pepper spray on others during a fight, prompting the bus driver to pull over and call for medics to treat the affected students.
The mother of one of the students who was sprayed arrived at the scene and attempted to board the bus but was stopped by the driver. Frustrated, the woman reportedly returned to her car, retrieved a handgun, and began waving it around. While she did not point the weapon at anyone, her actions led to her arrest.
The 36-year-old woman was charged with reckless endangerment, according to the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department. Police confirmed that no one was injured beyond the pepper spray exposure and that a handgun was recovered from the suspect. Further details have yet to be released.
