Kristi Noem Pushes for Illegal Alien Registry & Self-Deportation Plan

DHS Secretary Kristi Noem is taking a hard stance on illegal immigration, urging individuals in the U.S. illegally to either self-deport or face severe consequences. Her recent initiative includes the introduction of an illegal alien registry requiring fingerprinting and mandatory registration with the federal government.

She emphasized that under the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1952, illegal immigrants could face criminal penalties for failing to comply with these requirements.

Noem’s message is clear: illegal immigrants who do not voluntarily leave the U.S. could be subject to fines, imprisonment, or both.

She is seeking to enforce all immigration laws strictly, underscoring that the Trump administration will not selectively enforce these laws. Noem also made it clear that those who choose to self-deport could have the possibility of returning legally and pursuing the American dream.

Additionally, Noem addressed the issue of border security, stressing that the days of weak leadership that allowed unchecked immigration and criminal activity are over.

She also warned those considering illegal entry into the U.S. that they should not attempt it, as the Trump administration will actively pursue and remove anyone in the country illegally.

The Department of Homeland Security DHS encourages illegal immigrants to visit the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services website for guidance on how to register with the federal government and self-deport, should they choose to leave voluntarily.
