Former Badcock executives Robert Ball and Matt Pridemore have launched Hometown Furniture, a new retail venture transforming 30 former Badcock locations across the Southeast.
This expansion involves 33 stores in Florida, Georgia, North and South Carolina, and Alabama, with some properties previously owned or leased by Badcock dealers now transitioning to Hometown Furniture.
Ball, CEO, and Pridemore, COO, are bringing these strategic locations back to life with a mix of middle to higher-priced furniture aimed at providing an aspirational shopping experience
Dealers will also be able to customize their product selection to cater to local preferences, offering regionally curated goods.
The new company emphasizes flexibility and responsiveness, with Ball highlighting a commitment to meeting the specific demands of each market.
We want to be your friends in the furniture business,” he says, focusing on building trust with customers by solving their problems and delivering on their furniture needs.
Hometown Furniture is expected to open all locations by the end of the month, and the team is confident the stores will fill an important void in these markets.
