Georgia Secretary of State Raffensperger Ensures Voting Equipment is Hurricane-Ready

ALBANY, Ga. WALB – Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger made a stop in Albany on Tuesday to perform a health check on voting equipment.

Raffensperger said he wants to ensure Georgians that their vote will be counted in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene. Most of the election offices in the state’s 159 counties did not sustain serious damage and no equipment was affected.

Raffensperger said many state agencies are coming together to make sure resources are distributed to ensure early voting is possible.
