F-35 Night Training Flights Begin This Week in Madison: What Residents Need to Know

The Wisconsin Air National Guard’s 115th Fighter Wing will conduct nighttime training flights involving F-35 aircraft from Monday to Thursday this week. Flights will take place until around 9:15 p.m. each night.

While these training sessions typically happen during daylight, the evening schedule is essential for ensuring pilots and maintenance personnel are prepared for a variety of operational scenarios.

The 115th Fighter Wing has set designated flight paths to minimize noise impact on local communities and appreciates the support from Madison-area residents.
