Smokey Bear made an appearance last week at the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Derry with Forest Ranger Neil Bilodeau in recognition of the 12 club members who entered this year’s Poster Contest. A total of 354 kids from around the state participated in the annual competition, which features either Smokey Bear or Woodsy Owl. Getting a hug from Smokey is Abbie Whitney.
