Arizona Governor Launches ConnectAllAZ Initiative to Expand High-Speed Internet Access

Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs recently launched a new initiative called ConnectAllAZ, aiming to bring high-speed internet to everyone in the state.

This program will bring together various efforts already underway to expand internet access across Arizona. By combining these projects, the initiative will help people find the resources they need, especially in areas with limited access to the internet.

Governor Hobbs emphasized that all Arizonans should have the tools to succeed, and ConnectAllAZ will ensure affordable, reliable internet is available to every community in the state.

The initiative’s website includes a tool called the Arizona State Broadband Map, which shows which parts of the state need internet the most. Hobbs hopes this map will help guide state, local, and federal efforts to expand internet access.

Sandra Watson, president of the Arizona Commerce Authority, praised the initiative, saying it will create more economic opportunities, especially in rural and Tribal communities.
