Alabama GOP and Democrats Target Georgia Voters in Crucial Election Push

Both the Alabama Republican and Democratic parties are intensifying their efforts to support their respective candidates in Georgia’s upcoming election, highlighting the state’s pivotal role as one of the Southeast’s few swing states.

As early voting continues in Georgia, Alabama-based party organizers are mobilizing volunteers, sending poll watchers, and conducting grassroots outreach to rally voters.

Philip Foster, the Alabama GOP’s political director, shared that the party has reached nearly 40,000 households in Georgia, aiming to boost conservative voter turnout with a target of 100,000 door-knocks by Election Day.

He emphasized that direct engagement through door-to-door canvassing allows volunteers to address voters’ concerns personally and offer alternatives.

On the Democratic side, Wayne Rodgers, chair of the Jefferson County Democratic Party, outlined their similar strategy focused on data-driven voter targeting.

Alabama Democrats are rallying voters, distributing literature, and promoting the stakes of the election, with the goal of pushing Georgia from a purple to a blue state.

Additionally, the Alabama Democratic Party plans to send local politicians to Clayton County, Georgia, to further energize Democratic supporters. Both parties are committed to deploying additional volunteers in Georgia as Election Day approaches.
