The Derry Village Elementary School Parent Teacher Association (PTA) annually runs a three-week after-school enrichment program in the spring. The program is free and is funded by the school’s PTA, with all classes taught by volunteers.
Different enrichment activities are available to the students on different afternoons and some of the activities are separated by grade levels.
Classes range from cheerleading to crafts, jazz dance to doodling, kickball and Zumba to martial arts and outdoor exploration. Duct tape art, floor hockey, creative writing, and dominoes are also featured.
