A Detroit woman, age 34, died in a car crash on eastbound I-96 near Hubbell early Sunday morning (8/11) around 1:20 a.m.
According to Michigan State Police, the Detroit Regional Communication Center received reports of a rollover crash with the vehicle on fire.
Investigators found that the driver lost control, veered off the road, and hit the cement barrier for the railroad overpass.
Her family has been notified. The investigation is complete, but they are still waiting for the medical examiner’s report.
