This freshman phenom continued her superb first season of high school volleyball getting 32 digs against Salem and 23 digs and 17 service points with eight aces against the Lancers.
While the former Fishercraft building at 19 Elm St. has been demolished, there are still issues with the property that is often described as “the town’s biggest eyesore.”

The Derry Town Council will wait until more research is done, and until affected residents weigh in, before recommending that a number of rural “collector roads” receive center stripes or fog lines.
At its Sept. 6 meeting the Council heard from Scott Savard, chairman of the Highway Safety Advisory Committee, and Michael Fowler, Director of Public Works, regarding the possibility of striping 17 roads with fog lines. The Council took no action, but determined to obtain resident input before going any further. Continue reading
